How booking with Sashay works

Your time is held, not booked, until the deposit is in

When you finish booking, your time is held for 24 hours while your deposit comes through. Nobody else can take it in that window. It becomes a real appointment only once Sashay has checked the money and confirmed it herself, usually the same day, and she writes to you the moment she has.

If the deposit is not in after 24 hours, the time opens up to everyone else again. Nothing is charged and nothing is owed. If you still want it, message her and she will tell you straight away whether it is still free.

The deposit

50% of the total, and it is not refundable. It comes off what you owe, so the balance on the day is the rest. No deposit, no appointment.

The balance is paid on the day, by cash or bank transfer.

Running late

At 15 minutes late a $1,000 fee applies. At 20 minutes late the appointment is cancelled and the deposit is not returned. This is not her being difficult: she works one on one and a late start pushes every client after you.

Changing or cancelling

You can reschedule or cancel up to 48 hours before your appointment. Message her as early as you can. Refunds are not given, including on the deposit.

Coming to the studio

Come at your appointment time and come solo. There is no extra company in the studio. Come with a clean, moisturised face unless she has told you otherwise.

If you have sensitive skin, an allergy, a skin condition or anything she should work around, tell her before your appointment so she can plan the products. She uses professional products and sanitised tools, but she cannot know about a reaction she was never told about.

Weddings

The package price covers the bride. Everyone else getting ready is charged per face at the rate shown when you book. If the bride is not getting ready, every face is charged at that per face rate instead.

Sashay travels to a wedding party of 4 or more. A smaller party gets ready at the studio. The travel fee depends on where you are getting ready, so she confirms it with you after you book. A start before 10am carries an early surcharge, shown before you pay.

Classes

Classes are one on one and every product is provided. They are booked and held the same way as any other appointment, with the same deposit. A class that runs over two days holds both days, so please be sure of the dates before you book.

Shop orders

Orders are packed once payment is in. Pickup is from the studio and delivery covers Kingston and St Andrew for the fee shown at checkout. Products are sold as described; because of what they are, opened makeup cannot be returned.

Prices

Every price on this site is in Jamaican dollars. Prices can change, but never on a booking you have already paid a deposit on: what you were quoted is what you pay.

Photographs of your look

Sashay often photographs her work for her portfolio and her Instagram. If you would rather she did not photograph you, or did not post you, just say so, before or after. She will not ask twice and it changes nothing about your appointment.
